The highlight was certainly the breakfast - a well-curated selection with options for everyone, allowing my fiancée and I to fuel up for a day of hiking. The automatic check-in was a breeze, and while there was no traditional reception, the friendly staff in the restaurant made up for it with their helpfulness and attentive service. The hotel’s location, mere minutes from the highway yet surrounded by nature’s beauty, provided an excellent base to discover the hiking and biking trails nearby—as a sailing enthusiast, the serene landscape was an added bonus! All in all, B-Smart Hotel Widnau is a gem for both leisure and business travelers, impressing with its sustainable management and charming atmosphere.
